Thalazur Antibes

Thalazur Hotel Antibes

Thalazur is the name of the key player of spa hotels, nine in total, in France and has been a destination for the body, skin and mind for more than twenty years.

Thalazur is short for thalassotheraphy from the Greek word thalassa, meaning sea. The interpretation of thalassotheraphy is the use of seawater and marine products as therapy, a well known method since ancient times. I was invited to Hotel Thalazur Antibes to experience true, clean Mediterranean sea water used in all possible ways and healthy food and drinks.

  • LOCATION

The location of Hotel Thalazur Antibes is between Cannes and Nice in the outskirts of Antibes. Antibes is the charming seasort resort that offers history, heritage, art, museums, restaurants, festivals, a Provencal market and great beaches.

Thalazur Antibes is located in a quit area only a short distance by car from Antibes centre. Due to the distance the hotel offers shuttle service between Antibes town centre, the train station of Antibes and the hotel.

  • CHARME & STYLE

Thalazur Antibes is set in beautiful surroundings between the sea and the mountains, with a spectacular view overlooking the Bay of Angels. Some of the rooms, the restaurant, the terrace and the pools face the sea and have this view. Speaking of seaview, the seawater used in the treatments and in the pools come in pipes to the hotel from the Bay of Angels.

The interior colors of the hotel are soft beige, violet and pale lilacs giving that soft and relaxing feeling.

  • ROOMS

When it comes to rooms you can choose between sea view, a room facing the garden or to have your own apartment. All rooms and apartments are good size, modern rooms, the rooms have a bright and airy feel and a private balcony.

  • SERVICE & FACILITIES

Two indoor heated seawater pools with swan neck jets, bubble seats and underwater jets, jacuzzi, sauna, two hammams one warm equipped with a scrub table and two saltwater outdoor heated pools. The list of treatments is long, but to mention some there are hydrotherapy treatments, dry treatments, body scrubs, shaping and nutrition, anti-aging, massages, paramedical treatments, treatments with marine mud, algae, essential oils and beauty treatments.

Thalazur Antibes has a signature treatment program for well-being and it combines daily thalassotherapy treatments, massages and other treatments in a package of 24 over six days. I suppose that after one week at Thalazur full of treatments you will be totally recharged.

The entrance to the spa, to the fitness rooms the swimming pools and the saunas are all included for in-room guests.

  • FOOD & DRINKS

Breakfast is a continental buffet with a wide selection of eggs, cheese, cereal, jams, paistry and jam. There are plenty of healty juices to choose between and you can even make your own fresh juice if you like.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner are served in the L´Angélus restaurant or on the terrace in front both overlooking the Bay of Angels.

Mediterranean cuisine full of fragrances and flavors of the region. The ingredients are fresh and local. Oils with health benefits are added to some of the dishes for your well-being.
