Where to eat Antibes

Lilian Bonnefoi is the place for pastries, home made chocolate, lunch, breakfast, brunch, coffee, tea or a glass of wine in Antibes. The owner with the same name has served as head pastry chef at Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc, the hotel for the rich and famous, for over twenty years. Four years ago Lilian Bonnefoi fulfilled his dream and opened his first boutique in Antibes. This year he opened his second location on Place du Safranier in the old town and this is where I was invited to dine.

To start with what´s most important, smiles are contagious and at Lilian Bonnefoi you will a smile on your face for free. Lilian Bonnefoi on Place du Safranier is a bakery cafe with indoor and outdoor seating.

I started off with their famous avocado toast, poached egg and salmon on toasted bread, served with a fresh salad on the side and I do understand why this is famous.

The pastries are amazing the difficult part is to only choose only one.

Home made chocolate is a must, after all it´s not very often that one get to dine in a chocolate factory. I loved the location, the friendly and welcoming staff, the food and the sweets and I am pretty sure that you will too.
