Stylish design elements, art, humor, history and modern times blend perfect making the Mansion Boutique Hotel a one of a kind place to spend the night. Without having tested them all, I would say that The Mansion probably is the most charming and stylish boutique hotel in the capital of Romania. Chose it for it´s location, decoration and service.
LOCATION
Excellent located at the edge of the Old Town of Bucharest and close to one of the largest squares in central Bucharest, the Piata Unirii, that also is a significant transport hub. It is easy to walk all of the Old Town and to get to other tourist attractions from Mansion Boutique Hotel. The hotel street is pedestrian and one of the busiest in the Old Town with bars and restaurants surrounding the hotel.
CHARME & STYLE
You enter the door to complete luxury and charme. As a welcome greeting you are served a glass of Prosecco and you feel welcome from the very first minute. The hotel is an adult only hotel so there are no children around. The premises of the hotel, the beautiful historic building from the 15th century with an inner courtyard, now the reception area and the broad staircase that takes you to the room are cool surprises in the layout. Colorful art and design elements makes the hotel full of surprises and gives the hotel character.
ROOMS
The rooms don´t have numbers, they have names. The concept of the hotel when it comes to the rooms is that each of the 19 rooms are decorated uniquely. You have the British, Japanese, French, Art Deco, the Industrial and the Gothic and more. I stayed in one of the more modern, the Eclectic, the first picture below. The room was spacious and the bed was a dream.
SERVICE & FACILITIES
It all started with a smile and the welcoming Prosecco in the reception. One alcohol free drink from the minibar was included in the rate and a handwritten welcoming note was waiting in the room. At the Mansion Boutique hotel the rooms have names and so do the guests if you know that I mean.
FOOD & DRINKS
The Italian restaurant is worth a meal and the breakfast served there had a good choice of tasty food and favorites.
Without having tested them all, I would say that The Mansion probably is the most charming and stylish boutique hotel with a welcoming atmosphere in the capital of Romania. Chose it for it´s location, decoration and service. The Mansion Boutique Hotel is a little peaceful escape from the busy Bucharest city.
